Close to freeway and grocery stores and convenience. The place was nice and comfy and did the trick for staying practical. GOOD PRICE and nice rooms and people were nice in office.

The facility is old and tired. As such, it needs renovations, yet everything is clean and functional (including hot water on demand). What impressed me is the onsite management (cleaning staff too): they were cordial and always willing to be of service. For example, the coffee in the morning wasn't working (air pot inadvertently missing its funnel straw, again cuz that piece should be removed for proper cleaning and maintenance) and the gentleman immediately fixed it. Likewise, my request for Late Check Out (available to me as a Platinum Privilege) was graciously extended; the Lady even visited my room as she informed her cleaning staff to coordinate my request I will definitely return again as I have local doctor appointments.

I came here for a cheap room not expecting too much from the hotel but was surprised the room was very clean, the floors were clean, its a quiet hotel and the people that run it are very nice-i will return whenever im in castro valley

I really like Castro Valley it's clean and nice and everybody at the hotel is great very accommodating and clean and nice people in and out of the hotel room

I've stayed here many times. The building and grounds are well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a shopping center across the street, and I-580 is easily accessible. Friendly staff is the standard at this hotel, and I'm always glad to return. Some 2nd floor rooms have a great view. It's a great place to stay

I had a great hotel stay at this place. They have friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms. I left in the morning feeling very appreciative and well-rested. It's a very peaceful location with a good view, and across the street from several food places.

It's a hotel room. The staff was nice upon check-in and I was done and in my room within 7 minutes. I came here to sleep, and it was restful. The rooms around me were totally booked by contract workers, but didn't hear a lot of noise. There weren't people loitering about, the room was clean, the bed wasn't lumpy. Floor was clean. Limited TV channels, but I wasn't here to watch tv, so not an issue. There were soaps, shampoo, etc on the sink if needed. In room fridge, micro. Totally suitable. I'd stay here again.
